ONE of Oxford's three Race for Life events has already sold out - two months ahead of the day - but spaces are still available on the other two.
Race for Life is the UK's largest women-only fundraising event, where women of all ages come together and walk, jog, or run 5km to raise money to help Cancer Research UK beat cancer.
Oxford is one of the few places in the country that runs three races, due to huge demand.
Vikki Savery, area event manager, said: "It's great news that the Sunday event (June 8) is sold out already, but we still want to make sure as many people as possible take part in the Saturday races and also the event in Chipping Norton."
Every pound raised by Race for Life in Oxfordshire goes directly towards research carried out here in the county.
Race for Life events take place at the University Parks, Oxford, on Saturday, June 7, at 11am and 2.30pm.
There will also be a Race for Life at Heythrop Park, on Sunday, June 22 at 11am.
