How sad that so many of our traditional skills are disappearing.
Foster and Sons is an old-fashioned cobblers that has been providing excellent service to customers for more than half a century.
But from tomorrow, the distinctive smell of shoe leather, glue and polish wafting from the tiny shop in Kidlington High Street will be no more.
Brothers Keith and Tony Foster will be pulling down the shutters and locking the door for the last time.
Now well into their seventies, they well deserve their retirement, but many will be sorry to see them go.
