A 15-YEAR-OLD boy was chased through a village after being racially abused by a gang.
Police are appealing for witnesses to a racially aggravated incident in Eynsham on Sunday.
At about 8.15pm, a white 15-year-old boy was walking along Merton Close when a group of Asian men drove by in a metallic silver Vauxhall or Ford car playing very loud music.
One of them shouted racial abuse at the boy who ran away.
Four men got out of the car and chased the boy down the road, but he escaped.
One of the men, who was sitting in the front passenger seat, is aged between 18 and 22 and described as having a large build with medium-length, black, fluffy hair.
PC Robert Webb, of Witney police station, said: "We take racially aggravated crimes very seriously whatever the ethnicity of the victim is. The young lad involved was left quite shaken by this incident.
"Did you see it take place in Merton Close, or maybe this group of men in the area? If so, please get in touch and tell us what you know."
