Four teenagers and one man have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm following a fight in James Street, in East Oxford, yesterday.
Police were called to the junction of James Street and Cowley Road at 6.15pm after reports of a disturbance involving up to 15 people.
Two men were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and received treatment for facial injuries and were released the same evening.
Late yesterday evening three 17-year-old boys, one 16-year-old boy and a 19-year-old man, all from Oxford, were arrested and are currently in custody at St Aldate's Police Station.
