Firefighters have extinguished a blaze which caused traffic problems on the A40 near Witney this morning.
At its height 25 firefighters were tackling the fire at a garage at Salutation Farm House near Barnard Gate.
The fire in the single story double garage was spotted shortly after 5am this morning.
Crews had to close one lane of the A40 because of smoke billowing across the carriageway.
Five crews and a water carrier were called to the scene and six breathing apparatus, two hose reels and two jets were in use.
The blaze was put out shortly before 7.30am but the garage was destroyed by flames.
The A40 has been reopened and two crews remain at the scene damping down and removing debris.
