Oxfordshire Youth kept up their excellent form this season by beating Middlesex 13-4 on Sunday at The Lord Nuffield Club.
The unbeaten Under 18s went top of the table with an excellent 9-0 victory. Successes came from Lewis Bower, Dean Lockyer, Grant Tizzard, Kevin Smith, Aaron Stockford, Oliver Highton, Shane Cooper, Mark Burns and Tom Baughan, whose average of 21.17 gave him the man-of-the-match trophy.
Oxon Under 21 ladies, also top of their league, triumphed 2-1. Wins came from Nicola Slay and lady-of-the-match Ashley Curtis (14.31 ave).
The Under 21 men went down to a 3-2 defeat, their wins coming from, on his debut, Tim Gore and captain and man-of-the-match, Craig Inness (21.46 ave).
