After informing tenants that rubbish collections would be one day late after Easter, Oxford City Council has failed once again.
Our normal collection day is Thursday, so our collection should have been Friday, March 28. Alas, our bins were not emptied.
We found out, from our neighbours, that the dustmen came on Thursday as normal.
So now our rubbish will not be collected for another week, by which time there will be extra bags put into the bins which could be overfull and lids not closed properly.
The recycling boxes were collected on the Friday, so why wasn't the household waste?
Is the same thing going to happen again over the May Bank Holidays?
