Two cars were set on fire in Berinsfield this morning.
The first incident involving a silver Ford Fiesta, happened in Glyme Drive, at 2.58am.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service sent one crew from Abingdon fire station.
Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hoses to put out the fire.
The second incident happened just over 20 minutes later involving a Renault Clio.
Two firefighters using one hose reel extinguished the fire in Chiltern Close, at around 3.21am.
A fire service spokesman said it was believed both fires were deliberately started.
Police spokesman Victoria Bartlett said: "We are investigating these incidents.
"We can confirm there were two cars set alight.
"It is not yet known if they are connected."
