Thieves ripped out a cash machine, stealing £17,000.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the cash machine at the McDonald's restaurant, at the Green Road roundabout, in Headington, Oxford, was raided on Tuesday.
The thieves strapped a chain or rope to the cash machine then attached it to a car and ripped it out of the wall.
The cash machine was dragged 600 yards down London Road to Ridgeway Road.
Officers believe a yellow vehicle was used in the raid which took place at about 4am.
