MONTHS before the British International Motor Show opens at ExCeL in London (public days from July 23 to August 3), a sneak preview of the exhibition's main attractions is already available online.
Visitors to www.britishmotorshow.co.uk can navigate around a fully interactive map which highlights features at the event, with moving images and sound bites bringing the show to life.
Much more than a static visual representation of the exhibition layout, the map shows sportscars racing on the purpose-built tracks, boats and water-skiers on the move at the Marine Experience, and classic cars parading around the Heritage Enclosure.
The map also boasts a number of audio clips, providing a supercar soundtrack for those browsing the site.
The ground-breaking map - unique for any major UK consumer event - enables visitors to explore the show before they arrive at ExCeL and plan their route around the attractions.
The show's website also features information about ticket promotions, and footage of the successful 2006 show. Visitors can buy tickets through the website and then print their tickets at home.
Tickets are on sale now either via the website - www.britishmotorshow.co.uk - or by calling 0871 230 5588. Adult tickets start at £10.
