Hundreds of people are expected to attend the Oxford Mail's latest wedding fayre this weekend.

The event will be held at the Oxford Hotel in Godstow Road on Sunday, between 11am and 4pm.

Rachel Legg, exhibitions manager for the Oxford Mail, said: "It's a great way to plan and prepare for the most important day of your life with everything you need under one roof. The Oxford Mail Wedding Fayre is well-known across the county and continues to go from strength-to-strength."

This will be the second wedding fair this year.

The first, which was held in February at the Oxford Hotel, was a huge success with more than 400 people attending - about 180 of whom were brides-to-be.

On offer during the day on Sunday will be free goody bags for every bride, including magazines, sweets, cakes and perfume.

There will also be more than 30 exhibitors - ranging from photographers and jewellers, to florists and financial advisers.

There will be fashion shows at noon and 3pm.

There will also be information on different possible wedding venues in Oxfordshire, ideas for entertainment, cakes, bridal wear and mother of the bride outfits.

To help brides get an idea of what they might want to wear on their big day, Miss Legg said: "The fashion shows, which are sponsored by Posh Frocks and Millie Benjamin, are a great way to get inspiration for your perfect dress."
