A MAN who crept into the grounds of an Oxford girls school and performed an indecent act was locked up indefinitely.
Amjad Malik, prosecuting, told Oxford Crown Court that Jonathon Buron, of no fixed address, went to Headington Girls School and tried to get into a building in October, 2006.
He was wearing a bandana covering most of his face and was committing an indecent act.
Despite being told he was being recorded on CCTV, Buron still tried to get in through a nearby window.
Mr Malik said: "He damaged some security bars by putting his foot on the window sill. He asked how many girls were in the building."
He fled when he was told the police had been called.
Buron admitted trespassing with intent to commit sexual offences.
Claire Fraser, defending, said Buron suffered from an acute psychotic illness but his condition had improved significantly in the past 12 months.
She said: "He has little support in the community. He has family but because this illness has been going on for such a long time and was undiagnosed he has little contact with them."
Sentencing Buron to an indefinite hospital order, Judge Julian Hall said: "The way that you behaved was potentially extremely dangerous and certainly very frightening."
