A DRIVER arrested after a pile-up which caused hours of traffic jams in Oxfordshire has been released on bail.
Three lorries and two cars collided on the M40 between junction 11 at Banbury and junction 12 at Gaydon at about 10.20am on Friday.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
A 68-year-old lorry driver from Birmingham involved in the collision remains in hospital in Coventry with serious injuries.
A second injured man was treated at Banbury Hospital and has been released.
Police arrested a 22-year-old man, from Fleet in Hampshire, on suspicion of dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail until May10.
