A BOOK store chain has closed one of its two Oxford branches with the loss of six jobs.
The Works went into administration after its profits dropped by 34 per cent last year.
Accountants Kroll said the Westgate store was one of 85 stores to close nationally, but the store in Cornmarket Street would remain open as the owners tried to sell the remaining business as a going concern.
