A Witney man has died after his car hit a tree on a sliproad to the A40 near Minster Lovell.
The accident happened shortly before 9pm yesterday as the car, a silver Vauxhall Astra, was travelling from Minster Lovell on the B4047 Burford Road towards Brize Norton.
Firefighters cut the 33-year-old driver out of his car using hydraulic cutting equipment but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
No-one else was in the car at the time of the accident and no other vehicles were involved.
