A driver was killed in a crash on the A361 yesterday near Pomfret Farm, Swerford, it was confirmed today.
At about 7am, a green Nissan Primera travelling towards Chipping Norton collided with two other vehicles driving in the other direction - a silver Vauxhall Astra estate and a grey Peugeot 307.
The 39-year-old driver of the Primera, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, where he later died.
The post mortem was expected to take place today.
Another man was taken to The Horton Hospital, Banbury, with minor injuries.
