Sir - In your piece Burial plots running out (March 14), there is one issue which is not raised, which is the demand on Oxford cemeteries from those resident outside the city.
I understand that Londoners and others prefer plots in Oxford because (among other things) they are cheaper. As yet there is apparently no system in place which gives priority to Oxford residents.
This seems to be an issue worth addressing, given that additional space is already required.
