A CHILDREN'S party with books and stories to celebrate reading will be held at South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street, on Saturday, May 17.
The free event is open to children aged three to 11 and will offer the opportunity to dress up, play, read, take part in story-telling and craft sessions and work their way through a maze.
Local writer and illustrator Korky Paul, author of the Winnie the Witch books, will be among those taking part in the event, which runs from 11am to 4pm.
