COMMUNITY worker Gary Ashby has been given a cash reward for coaching a boys' football team.
Cutteslowe Community Association gave the £100 Elizabeth Johnston Community Services award to Mr Ashby, who runs the Cutteslowe Boys football team.
Mr Ashby, 43, started the team five years ago and there are now 21 boys aged ten to 12 playing Oxford Mail Boys League fixtures.
Mr Ashby said: "I was very pleased to get this award and I have invested in some new footballs."
