Bags packed, these children were heading off for a day of fun.
They and their mothers were from the Sunday Schools at East and West Challow.
They were taking a break from their Bible studies to enjoy a few hours at Hinksey Park in Oxford in August 1963.
No doubt some of the bags the children are carrying had swimming trunks and costumes inside so that they could have a dip in the pools.
Sadly, we know none of the names of the participants. Can anyone tell us?
