MOTHER-of-four Terri Amos has launched a franchise for Oxfordshire of a guide to things to do for children up to the age of 11, Raring2go!
The first edition is on its way to local primary schools, libraries, nurseries and leisure centres. It will be published quarterly ahead of the major school holidays.
Mrs Amos, 45, from Chinnor, said: "As a parent, I know how difficult it can be to find out what's going on in the local area, and sometimes parents are even unaware of the local gems literally on their doorstep."
She said she would run the magazine alongside her photography business.
"I really made it my mission to pack the guide full of information on all types of children activities and events, plus sections on my favourite place, a child-friendly restaurant of the season, clubs, classes and pre-school and toddler groups," she said.
The guide also gives advice on how to have fun and stay green using recycled and organic materials, plus food tips.
