A new police base could be built in Grove and may form part of the development on the disused airfield.
Thames Valley Police is looking into potential locations, and said it would bring them closer to the community.
Potential sites have not yet been confirmed, but the force has said it is part of an ongoing project to increase the number of bases across the county.
The neighbourhood policing team would work from the new office, and they hope the move would boost the police's profile.
A police spokesman said: "It's a way of bringing police closer to the community. They would not have to go back to a police station a few miles away and they would be based in the community that they are serving, spending their whole day in the community instead of travelling miles to and from stations."
Frank Parnell, chairman of Grove Parish Council, said: "It would be quite useful to have a police presence permanently in the village but we would like to have it manned full time.
"I would hope it would make people feel safer."
