A 42-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following the stabbing of two mental health workers.
Assam Abdu Karrar, of Celandine Place in Blackbird Leys, Oxford, was remanded in a secure unit today under the Mental Health Act.
He was charged this afternoon with the attempted murder of two staff from Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Care trust.
He is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court tomorrow.
The charges are in relation to an incident at Celandine Place on February 21 when two mental health workers suffered stab wounds to their sternum and back.
