The headteacher of a pre-school in Kidlington is celebrating after her nursery received top marks in an Ofsted report.
The Children's House, a Montessori nursery which operates from a pavilion at Park Hill Recreation Ground in Benmead Road, has been judged "good' or "outstanding" in all categories.
Headteacher Henrietta Ussher told the Oxford Mail she thought the maturity and high qualifications of her staff were the secret behind her school's recent success.
She said: "It's really gratifying our hard work and experience with children has been recognised so conclusively.
"The Ofsted inspector told me she had never been to such a lovely nursery before."
Pictured at play are Najah Niazi, IMan El Megrisi, Max Calder-Smith and Isaac Simpson. The Children's House, which cares for 24 children aged two to five, has three teachers, two of whom are part-time.
Ofsted inspector Sheila Brown said staff were consistent, calm and supportive and the pre-school pupils were provided with good role models.
