Dr Felce was riding her bicycle on The Plain roundabout in Oxford’s city centre on March 1 when she was struck by the tipper lorry driven by unlicensed and uninsured driver Whiting.
In a tribute released at the time, husband James said of the Oxford University researcher: “Ling was the light of our family and we are devastated to lose her so young when she had so many dreams for herself and her children that she was beginning to realise.”
The sentencing is expected to be heard in front of Judge Michael Gledhill QC in courtroom one at 10.30am.
