POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a cashpoint robbery in the centre of Oxford.

At around midday on Monday, August 29, the victim, a woman in her 20s, was taking cash out from the Halifax cash machine in Queen Street.

A woman then walked up behind her, threw her on the ground and took the money before running away.
