People in Wantage, Grove and Wallingford go to the polls on Thursday to elect members for Oxfordshire County Council, the Vale of White Horse District Council and Wantage Town Council.
Vacancies were caused by the sudden death of Wantage councillor Jim Moley and the retirement of Wallingford's Lord Bradshaw.
In the county council poll, there is a three-way fight in Wallingford between Lynda Atkins (Ind), Pat Dawe (Con) and Peter Gill (Lab). In Wantage, Jenny Hannaby (Lib Dem), Bill Melotti (Con) and Jean Nunn- Price (Lab) will battle it out.
For the vacant district council seat, Ed Mitchell (Lab), John Irvine Morgan (Con) and Lorraine Todd (Lib Dem) do battle, while John Irvine Morgan, Steve Quinton and Monica Turcu fight for the town seat.
