Friends of Ryan Bott have paid tribute to the "charismatic" young footballer who died in a head-on crash that killed seven people.
The 20-year-old, from Milton-under- Wychwood, was killed instantly when a car driven by his step cousin Jason Brain crashed into an oncoming car on the A429 Fosse Way between Moreton-in-Marsh and Stow-on-the- Wold on Friday night.
Close friend and reserve team manager of Enstone Football Club, for whom Mr Bott played, Sean Stevens, said: "I've never come across anyone like him before. He seemed to light up the whole room wherever he went, he was a very charismatic person."
The club will hold a minute's silence before its match on Saturday.
Tim Caswell, 39, landlord of the Bell Inn, in Chipping Norton, where Mr Bott was a regular, said: "We all thought the world of him. He was an absolutely brilliant guy, a great person and great fun to be around."
The pub has started a collection for Mr Bott's family.
