Our small island has been given quite a large quota for renewable energy production by Brussels.
To reach this quota, an awful lot of wind turbines will need to be erected. It is inevitable that our countryside and Green Belt will suffer.
History has demonstrated that new technologies will inevitably render previous inventions obsolete.
Since these large structures are not particularly efficient, it is quite probable that one day, they will need to be decommissioned by the various councils that rushed to have them built.
Fools rush in where angels fear to tread!
