A 45-year-old man accused of carrying out a stabbing in Didcot walked free from court today after the case against him was dropped.
Ping Zhong, of Park Road, Didcot, denied wounding with intent and unlawful wounding before prosecutors at Oxford Crown Court told him they would offer no evidence.
Prosecutor Cathy Olliver said the alleged victim - and only witness - had gone to China and could not be traced.
