BURGLARS were disturbed after a neighbour saw them creeping around a house.
Police are today appealing for information after a break-in at a house in Marlborough Gardens in Faringdon between 2.45pm and 3pm on Thursday, February 28.
A neighbour heard a dog barking and then noticed a man inside the house.
A couple of minutes later he saw two men outside his neighbour's house and they asked him if he wanted some work done to his roof.
The first man is white, slim, aged around 30 years old and was wearing a blue hooded top.
The other man was white and was wearing black clothing and a black hat.
DC Chris Leech said: "The men have gained access to the house but didn't steal anything; this could have been because they were disturbed in progress.
"I would urge anyone who may have seen suspicious activity or a vehicle in the area to contact me."
Anyone with information should contact police on 08458 505505 or speak anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
