This striking young cat is Bounty, who came into the centre due to his previous owners having a new baby, and hence not having enough time for him.

Bounty is confident cat that is exceptionally bright and active. He loves to play, whether it be on his own or with his owner. Bounty is very inquisitive and loves to explore new things; therefore his new owners would new to give him lots of mental and physical stimulation to keep him active.

When Bounty first came to the centre he found the cattery environment rather frustrating because he was so close to other cats. He was therefore moved to an area where he was on his own which has helped us to understand him and his needs; and to see what a charming dynamic chap he really is.

At the centre, staff have been working with Bounty to help him find a way of controlling his frustration. He has been having two sessions a day, where he has learnt the difference between quiet time and play time. To keep his mind active, he is also given puzzles to work out. He has responded well to these sessions and is now a delight to be with.

Bounty needs experienced owners who are can be firm, but fair and are happy to continue the work we have done with him. Given time and understanding to settle into his new home, Bounty in return will make a loyal and content companion.
