A robber is on the run with tens of thousands of pounds after a smash and grab on a security guard outside a bank in Oxford this morning.
Police said the man is believed to have 'bumped into' the security guard and stole a cash box containing cash at Lloyds TSB bank in Banbury Road, Summertown, at 10am.
He fled on foot down Stratfield Road towards Woodstock Road and police are currently searching the area for the robber.
The robber is described as black, with facial stubble, in his early 20s.
He was wearing a black hooded top and a yellow high visibility jacket.
The cash box is grey and around two-foot long and one-foot wide.
Police estimate he stole tens of thousands of pounds from the cash box and added no one was injured.
