Our Italian offers have always proved popular in the past and, though we have covered the central and southern regions, the famous regions in the north have not so far been featured as an offer in themselves.
So here are some classic examples from some of the north's most well known wine areas for you to enjoy.
The Northern Italian mixed case costs £98 and includes three bottles each of the following four wines.
Cantina di Custoza Pinot Grigio 2006: An excellent example of this popular grape variety from around Lake Garda which has real character and fine fruit flavours of pear, citrus and almond.
Valpolicella Botter 2006: From Verona, east of Lake Garda and made from the corvina, rondinella, and molinara grape varieties, this wine has fresh flavours of black cherry and is a perfect accompaniment to most pasta dishes.
Marco Porello Barbera d'Alba Mommiano 2005: From the classic area of Piedmonte, this delightful modern style wine is made by top producer Marco Porello and is full of juicy damson and black cherry fruit which is both aromatic and ultra fresh.
Barolo Dezzani 2003: Italy's most famous wine, Barolo is made from thick-skinned nebbiolo grapes grown in Piedmonte and is a weighty wine full of deep layers of smoky complex cherried fruit. Ready to drink right now, this is a wine that will also keep for up to five years if so desired.
