The Prime Minister's wife is "warm and fuzzy" according to children who met her in Oxford yesterday.
Sarah Brown read to children and even joined in an impromptu dance session during her hour-long visit to Pegasus School, in Blackbird Leys.
Mrs Brown was in to Oxford to see how the school's children's centre - part of the Sure Start initiative - works in the community. She is pictured reading with six-year-old Kyle Murgason. She watched children doing arts and crafts, before speaking to parents.
Kyle Robertshaw, 10, from Greater Leys, presented a picture of a car to Mrs Brown. He said: "She said it was brilliant."
Kyle's mum, Becky, said: "It was really nice that she was interacting with the children."
Mrs Brown then joined in a stomp-style dance with two toddlers before chatting to seven-year-old Hayley Manning.
Hayley said: "She asked me what I did for my birthday. She was quite warm and fuzzy."
Headteacher Jill Hudson said: "It went really well. She clearly loves kids."
