POLICE are appealing for a woman to come forward following an assault on a 13-year-old boy in Abingdon.
At about 5pm on February 21, the boy was assaulted by two boys in Lumberd Road, between Boxwell Close and Trinity Close.
PC Stuart Webber said: "A woman came to the assistance of the boy who was attacked and I am keen to speak to her to help me with my enquiries."
The two boys are described as white and aged about 15. One is about 5ft 6in tall, slim with mousey brown hair and was wearing a white jacket with dark tracksuit bottoms.
The other boy had gelled down hair and was wearing a grey tracksuit.
PC Webber added: "This was a nasty assault and the boy suffered bruising and concussion. There may have been people around at the time and I would like anyone who may have seen this incident to get in touch."
