A driver and passenger narrowly escaped serious injury or even death in an accident near Abingdon, police said today.
Officers have appealed for witnesses to the crash at about 2.50pm at the Kingston Road junction with the A415 in Frilford, near Abingdon, on Saturday.
A green Jeep Cherokee was in collision with a blue Volkswagen Passat, which was travelling towards Abingdon from Millets' Farm.
Pc Ed Turner said: "It must have been luck that this collision didn't have fatal consequences.
"The driver and the passenger of the Jeep were taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital and have since been released with only minor injuries."
