Managers of Didcot's new arts centre are asking south Oxfordshire residents to help shape its programme of events.
The £7.4m Cornerstone Centre is under construction and will open its doors later this year.
Jane Martin, the centre's marketing manager, said the aim was to provide something to entertain everyone, so all suggestions for events and shows were welcome.
She said: "It's important that people give us feedback so that we programme events, performances, exhibitions and workshops that people need.
"The venue will be made up of an array of beautiful and practical spaces, designed specifically to embrace as many artistic disciplines as possible, from photography exhibitions to hip-hop dance classes."
The building, at the junction of Orchard Street and Station Road, will have a 278-seat theatre and four other areas, which will be used for classes, workshops, exhibitions and talks.
There will also be a cafe and bar.
So far ideas have included jazz music, belly dancing classes, life drawing and chamber music.
Centre director Emma Dolman said: "I'm keen to talk to everyone about what we want Cornerstone to be.
"The team are bursting with ideas and we know you are too. We will fill Cornerstone with really exciting, top-quality touring shows and activities and the best in district talent."
Organisers say the centre will offer a destination for cultural and creative activities during the day and night. It could also host bigger names, as well as provide a platform for local artists.
The Cornerstone team is giving away prizes to encourage people to complete questionnaires.
These are available from the town's Soll leisure facilities, Didcot Library and other local businesses, by calling Ms Martin or Ms Dolman on 01491 823832, emailing cornerstone@southoxon.gov.uk or filling in an online survey, which enters residents in a draw to win a camera, at www.southoxon.gov.uk/cornerstone The centre is expected to open in the summer.
