POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a street robbery in Oxford in the early hours of Sunday.
Officers said at about 2.35am, two men, aged 23 and 24, were walking along Banbury Road when they were approached by two men. A mobile phone and cash was taken.
Sheldon Lea, 19, of Knights Road, Blackbird Leys, has been charged with robbery and been remanded in custody to attend Oxford Crown Court on Monday.
Police are appealing for information on a second man described as white, aged in his early twenties, about 6ft tall, skinny, with short straight blonde hair. He was wearing a grey hooded top.
