COLLECTING cuddly toys and Easter eggs for disabled children may be a far cry from the reputation of the Hells Angels, but that does not bother members of Caldarium Motorcycle Club.
More than 100 bikers are expected to participate in the club's annual charitable ride across the county a week on Saturday, taking presents to Bardwell School, in Bicester, Viking House Centre for Disabled Children, in Saxon Way, Oxford, and Summerfield House, in Abingdon.
Club secretary Christine Earle said the club had already received lots of donations.
"My bedroom is absolutely stuffed with toys and Easter eggs," she said.
"We need about 400 eggs and cuddly toys for the youngsters, but to be honest we want whatever we can get because we can always find homes for donations."
The egg run starts from the General Elliot pub, in South Hinksey, and during the weekend bands and discos have also been organised at the pub.
