To celebrate National Cinema Day (September 3) you can pick up cinema tickets for just £3 at Oxford’s historic The Ultimate Picture Palace.
Today, visitors to The Ultimate Picture Palace will be able to purchase tickets for screenings that day for a specially reduced cost – which would make going to see a film cheaper than a cup of coffee.

The screenings on offer today include UK documentary Eric Ravilious: Drawn to War, a special screening of new release Queen of Glory and David Cronenberg’s controversial 1996 classic Crash.
Tickets are available to purchase at the Box Office in person or online
Micaela Tuckwell, executive director of The Ultimate Picture Palace said: "I was so pleased to see that National Cinema Day is back this year as it is such a fun way of people showing their love of the cinema!
“I love the idea our audiences joining film lovers up and down the country in making a special trip to the cinema on Saturday and maybe taking a chance on a film that they wouldn’t have otherwise seen, a much loved-classic, or even doing a double or triple bill!"
