A woman has been assaulted by a man in a village near Faringdon.
On Friday, the woman in her 20s was assaulted by the man while she was tending a horse near Stratton Borough Farm, between Watchfield and Highworth.
Det Sgt Mark Johns, of Thames Valley Police, who is investigating the incident, said: "The woman was taken to hospital by ambulance but has since been released.
"Fortunately her injuries are not serious but she was left very shocked and shaken and I am treating this incident with concern.
"The man who assaulted her is believed to be white, 5ft 10ins, medium build and in his late thirties. He has short, dark hair and was wearing dark clothing.
"I am appealing to anyone who saw a man acting suspiciously in the area or who saw a new silver small hatchback car to contact me."
Anyone with information is urged to contact Det Sgt Johns on 08458 505505 or the anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555111.
