Barry Keoghan, the young actor who appeared in The Batman, was on location for a movie in Oxford just over a year ago as we take a look back through our archives.
Film crews were in Radcliffe Square in August 2022 to shoot scenes for Saltburn.
Saltburn was the second film directed by Emerald Fennell after Promising Young Woman, which came out in 2020.

The film was written and directed by Ms Fennell, and produced by Fennell and LuckyChap Entertainment’s Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley and Margot Robbie, of Barbie fame.
Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, and Robbie were confirmed as producers and Rosamund Pike, Jacob Elordi, and Barry Keoghan joined the cast, which also featured Richard E Grant.
Filming began in July 2022, with Linus Sandgren as cinematographer.
Barry Keoghan previously joined the DC Universe as The Joker in Matt Reeves’ The Batman, opposite Robert Pattinson.

He also can be seen in Marvel’s new franchise Eternals, directed by Chloe Zhao.
He appears in Martin McDonaugh’s The Banshees of Inisherin, also starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson.
Rosamund Pike’s credits include Amazon series The Wheel of Time and well-received thriller I Care a Lot.

It's been a busy time for film fans in Oxford, with the final scenes being shot for Morse prequel Endeavour.
Series nine is the final series of Endeavour episodes for ITV, based on the Inspector Morse stories created by Oxford author Colin Dexter.
The final series aired earlier this year.
