Shocking images have been released by the fire service after a crash involving a light aircraft.
Crews from Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire fire services were called to the incident at around 1.55pm yesterday afternoon, after the plane crashed on Dudley Lane, Southend near the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire border.

Images shared by the fire service show the plane stuck amongst the trees, with its nose bent and buckled and its wings partially detached.
Amazingly, both the pilot and passenger were uninjured and managed to safely exit the aircraft.
After cordoning the aircraft off and making the scene safe, disconnecting the battery and ensuring no fuel could leak, the firefighters left the scene at around 3.33pm.
The cause of the crash is being investigated by the Air Investigation Branch, supported by the police.
