ROBBERS armed with a knife stole £50,000 worth of watches in a raid on an Oxfordshire jewellers.
The gang forced their way into Henley Goldsmiths in Duke Street at about 3pm on Wednesday.
When the staff came out of the back office into the shop one of the men pointed a knife at one member of staff and told them to get back into office.
The men stole Rolex and Cartier watches worth about £50,000.
They left the shop and got into a silver two-door BMW 3 Series convertible, with a black roof, registered J4 HER, which had been parked in a lay-by opposite the shop.
The car drove quickly into Hart Street and then in the direction of Maidenhead.
The driver of the car is white, with tanned skin and aged in his thirties. He is about 6ft tall, stocky with short black untidy curly hair, has a large nose and was wearing a leather jacket and vertically stripped black and blue top.
The second man is white, very pale spotty skin, aged in his late twenties to early thirties, skinny, 6ft 2ins tall light brown/ginger hair in a crew cut. He was wearing a light grey tracksuit top.
The third man is described as white.
Det Sgt Alan Clements said: "This is a very serious offence. The staff have been threatened with a knife but were luckily not injured. I believe the men drove around Henley, and parked up in Greys Road while they walked around the area for about 15 minutes before they robbed the jewellers.
"I urge anyone who may have seen these men park the car or walk around the town to contact me. The car is easily identifiable and I hope that someone might recognise the description, or see the car and contact the police."
Anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Clements at Thame police station via 0845 8 505 505, or if you do not want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
