Video footage has revealed horrific scenes on the A34 after a lorry overturned on the road. 

Earlier this morning, emergency services scrambled to the scene of the incident near Didcot. 

Thames Valley Police, Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service and South Central Ambulance Service were all called to the incident.

The northbound carriageway was closed, with a diversion in place, while traffic on the southbound carriageway was held so an air ambulance could land on the road. 

Emergency services remain at the scene at this time.
