POLICE this afternoon appealed for information following a burglary and attempted burglary in Tiddington.
Between 7.30am and 7pm on Monday, offenders attempted to gain entry to a property by forcing the rear door with an instrument, possibly a crowbar, in Brookside Close.
Overnight on Monday into Tuesday, burglars forced their way into an address via the rear patio doors, again possibly using a crowbar, in Sandy Lane Estate. They stole a Toshiba laptop, jewellery and bottles of wine.
PC Dave Edwards, of Didcot Priority Crime Team, said: "We believe these incidents may be linked. I appeal to anyone who witnessed people acting suspiciously in the Tiddington area this week or has any information that could assist our inquiries to get in touch."
