A REWARD of £1,000 is being offered for information on the whereabouts of a man suspected of committing house burglaries across the South of England and Midlands including Oxfordshire.
Peter Sonny Martin O'Halloran, 33, has also been named on the national Crimestoppers Most Wanted website.
He is believed to have committed a large number of burglaries in the Cotswolds, and also in Essex, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, and Wiltshire.
Other areas he may have targeted include the West Mercia police area, Warwickshire, Hampshire and Suffolk.
He is also wanted for recall to prison having failed to comply with conditions of his previous release from prison.
Detective Sergeant Dave Doherty, of Gloucestershire Constabulary, is leading the hunt for O Halloran.
He said: "O'Halloran has evaded us for some time now and we firmly believe he is still active in targeting residential properties and stealing large values of jewellery amounting to hundreds of thousands of pounds.
"He sometimes goes by the name of Peter Noon, or other aliases, and someone must know where he is.
"We are now, through Crimestoppers, able to offer £1,000 for information leading to the arrest and charge of O'Halloran.
"Calls to Crimestoppers are anonymous so no one need ever know you were responsible for telling us where O'Halloran is.
"We would appeal for anyone with information on his current whereabouts to get in touch, but not to try and apprehend him themselves as he is obviously extremely keen to evade arrest."
Anyone with information on O'Halloran's whereabouts should ring Gloucestershire Constabulary on 0845 090 1234, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111
