SANDHILLS Primary School, Oxford, is due to officially unveil its new wind turbine today.
The school is the first in the city to have its own turbine after an 18-month fundraising campaign.
The £28,500, 14-metre high windmill is expected to save the school up to £1,500 a year.
Oxford East MP Andrew Smith is due to unveil a plaque at the ceremony.
