A drunk 14-year-old girl had to be resuscitated by a Police Community Support Officer after collapsing in a park.
The girl and a friend, also 14, passed out drunk at a skateboard park in Mably Way, Grove, on Friday, at about 7.15pm after drinking vodka.
The teenager had stopped breathing and PCSO Sue Harris, on patrol with colleague PCSO Howard Pack, saved her life by giving her mouth-to-mouth.
After about a minute the girl began breathing again and was taken to hospital. Both girls have now returned home.
PCSO Harris said: "It's not an experience I would like to repeat.
"I wouldn't want that to happen to any young person again. It's not very nice.
"However, we are trained to get on with what is put in front of you and then think about it afterwards."
It is believed someone bought a litre of vodka from a local shop for the 14-year-olds to drink.
Sgt Claire Storry, of Wantage neighbourhood policing team, said: "Their irresponsible actions could have had fatal consequences and cost them their lives."
